Painting in the field by my house was a great way to meet my neighbors! Even the neighbors chickens came by to say hello. I do live in the country in Waterford Vermont but painting in this field, on a major dirt road, was a welcome and very public event. The newpaper even published my picture. I gratefully gave a print to the land owner. The original is pastel over watercolor on a sanded paper board.
