"Abiquiu"
It's hard to turn on the heat in the studio when temperatures are below zero. The cost of this painting is more than the price. I have turned to warm memories and photos to complete this plein air piece.
"Abiquiu" was found at the end of a dusty desert road in New Mexico. My daughter wheeled the big truck and a friend and myself to the perfect painting site. More south of the border paintings are now showing at the Northeast Kingdom Artisan's Guild, 430 Railroad St. St Johnsbury Vermont
