In November a short stop by Profile Lake found me staring straight up  at Cannon Cliffs. I had lived here 30 years and never been to that pull out on 93. Dramatic! I grabbed my pastels and worked from the hood of my truck. I always materials with me in the fall.  I finished this piece last week in the studio. It is -20 degrees today, January 15, 2015.  Blue sky and warm air memories sustain me through his freezing winter.
